A box of chocolates is not just for Christmas…so we helped Thorntons Direct identify different gifting occasions, based on the messages which customers had sent with previous gifts.
We then segmented the customers further, based on the time of purchase, gender of the recipient, and gift value.
Now Thorntons Direct have a successful programme of bi-monthly e-mail campaigns, reminding relevant customers of upcoming occasions.
