Dr Helen Bridgman

Senior Data Analyst

Every good business should have at least one expert in higher dimensional cosmological string theory metrics, and Helen is ours!

Fortunately, she is also awesomely experienced in Data Analysis.

She began working in that field in February 2003 as a Marketing Analyst at Strategic Data Management, building segmentation and propensity models for business-to-business, business-to-consumer and charity clients.

In 2006, she moved to More Th>n as a Senior Marketing Data Analyst, gaining  experience in the running of monthly marketing campaigns including Direct Marketing, Outbound Telemarketing and Email communications.

In 2010, she joined us at Data Matters UK.

Helen’s key skills include

  • Data manipulation, selection, analysis and problem-solving
  • Regular and efficient use of very large data sets – 18 million customers with -50 million transactions
  • Data auditing, examining large databases, analysing data and developing ad-hoc reports for clients on a short time-scale
  • Creating models for direct-marketing campaigns using linear regression, clustering techniques and other statistical analyses
  • Writing programmes in both Microsoft Visual FoxPro and SPSS to update large datasets with automatic imports, scoring and reports on the new data
  • Constructing programmes in Visual FoxPro and SPSS syntax to manipulate and interrogate large databases, using Microsoft SQL to query and manage databases.
